- Find the driver file from the Downloads folder on your Mac.
- Double-click on it to commence the 123.hp.com/setup 6600 printer driver installation process.
- Once the Installation Wizard box pops-up, choose the Run option. Select the option Run from the Installation Wizard Box.
- The driver files for Mac will be in the .dmg format. Now, click the Next key.
- Wait until the installation is complete. When prompted, select the type of connection as either Wired or Wireless.
- If you connect the 123.hp.com/oj6600 printer using a USB cable, then establish the connection when the prompt box pops up.
- Accept the 'Terms and Conditions' by clicking on the checkbox.
- Wait until the HP Officejet 6600 files get installed and then click on the Finish button.
- Now, click the Apple icon on your system and choose the System Preferences option from the drop-down list.
- Select the Printers and Scanners option from the System Preferences dialog box. Menu and option names may vary with respect to the OS.
- Check if the name of your 123.hp.com/oj6600 printer is listed. If so, then remove and re-add your printer.
- Else, add the Officejet printer to the list by clicking the (+) Plus symbol ------> Add Printer and Scanner ----> Name of your printer ( HP Officejet 6600 ).
- Click on the button Ok and repeat the same steps to add your HP Officejet 6600 Setup printer in the Print Using dialog box.
- Click the option Add Printer and try to print, scan, or copy using your 123.hp.com/setup 6600 Printer.
